CLEAN TECHNOLOGY HUB LAUNCHES ITS NEW OFFICE BUILDING AND CLIMATE INNOVATION CENTER
Clean Technology Hub is a pioneering hybrid hub for the research, development, demonstration and incubation of clean and green ideas and technologies in Africa and their validation for commercial-stage development. The hub was founded in 2016 and is located in Abuja, with virtual hubs spread across the country. The Hub is Nigeria’s premier and pioneer energy innovation center and is also an early start-up incubator for inventions and innovations in clean energy, a consultancy for sustainability and energy efficiency solutions, and a driver of clean energy and climate-smart investments into Africa.
Recently, the Hub launched her new office building on the 27th of April 2023. The new building is located at 1 Sarki Tafida Street, Guzape, Abuja and will house the organization’s workforce as they continue to make an impact and contribute to policy developments in the renewable and climate change space in Africa. The hub also launched a co-working space, the CLIMATE INNOVATION CENTER with working spaces, conference rooms, meeting rooms, boardrooms and other facilities to help support early stage startups and businesses.
The grand opening event had in attendance clean energy and climate change enthusiasts, as well as individuals from the civil society and corporate space. At the Office launch, the CEO/ Co-founder, Ifeoma Malo, stated that the launch of the new office was a dream come through for the organization and it marks a huge milestone in its journey towards supporting clean energy entrepreneurs and promoting innovative ideas.
